Dis-connected, performance, 2007
it could be nothing.
It could be emptiness.
Maybe emptiness means fullness.
Maybe nothing means everything.
But what’s in there?
Is it reality or just a simulation?
If it’s real, could it be another unsuspected reality?
If not, what’s real?

Maybe being disconnected means to be connected.
Maybe what remains is just an illusion.

Dis-connected is a performance with dis-connection helmets.
It is inspired by experiences carried out through John C. Lilly with floatation/isolation tanks.

The helmets provide sound and visual isolation in order to dis-connect the user from his environment.
The performance is made for urban space or any environment that needs a moment of dis-connection.

this experiment with the visual products of the performance are parts of my research on dis-connected
environments.
